IJMB is an approved
9 month programme by Federal Government as a platform for securing
university admission into university in Nigeria and abroad, IJMB is
moderated by Ahmadu Bello University ABU Zaria with serious Study
Centres Nationwide. IJMB has been designed to serve as an alternative to
university admission, as it requires is your 0` level result be it
Waec, Neco, Nabteb etc (5 credits one sitting, and 6 credit two
sittings).
Statistics has
proven that annually, 20,000 applicants put in for the programme and
over 150,000 candidates secure admission with it into 200 level to their
preferred university & course giving of a success story of over 75%
of the applicants as compared to JAMB which close to 1.6 million
applicants sit for and just 20% fraction get admitted.
IJMB
is fully certified by Nigeria University Commission (NUC) as an A’
level programme hat serves as a mode of entry into the university today,
statistically as its provide a unique platform for realizing the dream
of university education-even in a more efficient way than JAMB because
it aids in securing admission into 200 level upon completion of the

Interested IJMB
Candidate are expected to select any THREE (3) A/L SUBJECTS (English
Compulsory) related to their course of study in the university.
Candidates would then be lectured on these subjects for a
period of 9 month and then write the final examination. On completion of the programme, Candidates therefore use their IJMB result to secure admission into 200 Level in any Nigeria university via Direct Entry. IJMB is presently
accepted in 80% of Nigerian Universities, see the table below, it has
been estimated that 80% of IJMB applicants scores over 6 points annually
and 70% uses it as their gateway into 200 Level. Only a dull student
will not make 6 points out total of 15 point criteria for crossing the
hurdle into 200 Level.
